1. What amenities are included in the condo?
The condo features two bedrooms, two full baths, a loft, a fully equipped kitchen, central air conditioning, Wi-Fi, 3 smart TVs, a lanai with a peek-a-boo ocean view, and access to community amenities such as a pool, spa, and workout room.
*We do ask that when you are away from the condo enjoying the beach or other activities, please turn off lights and keep blinds and curtains closed. Electricity is very expensive on the island, so to help keep our reservation costs competitive, we kindly ask you to help us conserve energy. The air will remain set at 78 degrees. Setting the temperature any lower will cause the unit to freeze up, which we want to avoid during your stay. This is an island issue, not a unit issue. Mornings and evenings are cool, so open the lanai door and the front door with the screen door closed to enjoy the very comfortable island air. You’ll find less need to have the air conditioner running when you do so.
2. How far is the condo from the beach?
The condo is just a short walk to Honl's Beach across the street from our community, making it convenient for beachgoers to enjoy sunbathing, swimming, and water activities. Downtown Kona is a short 7 minute walk.
3. Is parking available?
Yes, the condo includes 2 designated parking spots for guests. Additional guests parking is available.
4. Are there grocery stores nearby?
Yes, there are several grocery options nearby, including Walmart and ABC Store, as well as local markets for fresh produce and Hawaiian specialties.
5. What activities are available in the area?
Kailua-Kona offers a variety of activities, including snorkeling, diving, hiking, coffee farm tours, and cultural experiences at historical sites like Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park. Regardless of how long you stay, you’ll never run out of things to see and do!
6. Is the condo suitable for families?
Yes, the condo is family-friendly and includes space for children, with a king size bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the second bedroom, 2 twin beds in the loft, and a pull out sofa bed.
7. What is the check-in and check-out process?
Check-in is at 3 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM. Our condo is keyless entry, making check in easy for our guests. Detailed instructions will be provided upon booking.
8. Is there a minimum stay requirement?
Yes. Our community, as well as many others on the island, require a minimum 30 night stay.
9. Are pets allowed in the condo?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the condo to maintain a clean and allergen-free environment for all guests.
